Holzmanno Winterstein, was born in Alsace/France into the famous family of musicians of the Winterstein´s.He has become known by his long years of playing with Schnuckenack Reinhardt as well as later on beeing accompanying Hännsche Weiss. Today he is often seen at the side of Wawau Adler or Bireli Lagrene.
Today Holzmanno is mentioned together with guitarrists like his cousin Hono Winterstein, Titi Bamberger or Nous´che Rosenberg as one of the best Ryhthm-players alive in today Sintijazz-Scene.He is playing with all greats of the JazzManouche-scene at many concerts, often seen with Wawau Adler or Bireli Lagrene.
Just a few people know that Holzmanno himself is also a very good improvisor who knows all the tricks and techniques of JazzManouche, but just presenting thet very few in public
