CD-Review: Taylor Paucken Trio - Taylor Swing

taylorswingSince a couple of years the guitarrist Taylor Paucken-Reinhardt from Koblenz/Germany, a member of the famous Reinhardt-Clan is active in the Gypsyjazz-Scene in Germany.
Now Taylor has produced his first Solo-CD "Taylor Swing" (Taylor Paucken Trio & Friends).

Not only that this CD is outstanding well done and produced, here Taylor shows his great talent and playing ability.
Already with the first song "Daweli Waltz" (which was first recorded in 1972 by famous Hännsche Weiss, but which was composed by Taylors Grandpa Daweli Reinhardt), Taylor shows his feeling and ability for beautiful melodies. But also the other 11 songs (some of them originals by Taylor) are not only composed very well, but the more played virtuos and melodic.

On the CD Taylor is supported by Jermaine Reinhardt and Romano Sager on guitars and Daniel Weltlinger on violin, as well as Winfired Schuld on Piano and Accordeon. Winfried also produced the CD in his own TOCA-Records Studios.

The Sound is very round and balanced, the playing absolute authentic as is the creativity - all together a really well made Album that we reccommend to every Fan of Gypsyjazz!
