For sale is an absolute RARITY for guitarists and collectors:

FAVINO Modele Jazz 2B, Bj. approx. 1956/57, Price: 2350.-€ + shipping

This old Gypsyjazz guitar has been build in the workshop of famous luthier Jacques Favino, approximately around 1956/57. Favino-Guitars are, depite the famous Selmer- and Busato-Guitar, the most famous and “sought-after” Gypsyjazz Guitars (see also History) or research inside our JM-Guitar-Gallery.

The original tailpiece remains there, the bridge and tuners are new. The guitar has been restored from scratch in 2022. As you can see from the images of the guitar below, it has been in a devastating state, thats why it was restored. Within the work is a newly applied tampooning french polish, which took weeks and weeks to finish. Here you see the state before the restoration:

This gorgeous FAVINO Guitar has the typical barky Gypsyjazz Sound, which the guitars of FAVINO become famous for. This Rarity “is the real thing” and no cheap copy!

Of course this is no Favino Model No.10 (with the big body), but a smaller model with Selmer measures. Nevertheless the sound is typical for FAVINO Guitars.
