DiMauro 1943 Hearthole

It doesn't get much cooler than this: here´s a breathtaking Joseph DiMauro (The elder) modèl 'Bouche en coeur' (hearthole). The guitar is untouched. Original finish. Original tuners. Original tailpiece. And the first one I ever seen with this type of rosette and original turtoise pickguard. The only repair to see was a repair to the bracket of the pickguard. These guitars often sell well over 5500 USD and often in a much lesser condition than this one.This guitar was crafted by Joseph Di Mauro, the brother of Antoine, distinct from Antoine's son who shares the same name. Its unique heart-shaped sound hole serves as a clear hallmark of Joseph's craftsmanship. This particular model is exceedingly rare, with only a handful of surviving examples known to exist.
