    Selmer 1999 #586bis
According to the book "Story of Selmer guitars", serial numbers with the added word "bis" mark Selmer® serials that have been "inserted" into the regular row. Thus they might have been free or missing in the regular count of numbers. This guitar is one example for the limited "re-edition" of guitars that once have been released in 1999 for the 100th birthday of the Selmer® company. The produced 10 limited copies of the famous "Model Jazz". This is one of them.
